“Orrery Singing” is an improvisation concept featuring the “Orrery Singer” an instrument built and designed by myself, Martin Riches and Thomas Meixner in 2020-21. The cogwheel conductors and mallets are aligned and controlled by hand, mechanical rotation and articulate different tempi of planetary proportions.
